गालव उवाच विश्वामित्रा भ्यनुज्ञातो हाहं पितरमागत:
Gālava uvāca: Viśvāmitrābhyanujñāto hāhaṁ pitaram āgataḥ; na tāta taruṇa dāntaṁ pitā tvāṁ paśyate ’nagha.
Gālava disse: “Ó rei, tendo recebido a permissão de Viśvāmitra, voltei para casa para ver meu pai. Mas, ai de mim, querido filho, sem mácula: teu pai não chega a ver-te; és jovem, senhor de ti e livre de culpa.”
