Aṣṭāvakra’s Visit to Kubera: Hospitality, Temptation, and the Ethics of Restraint (अष्टावक्र-वैश्रवणोपाख्यानम्)
इति मत्वा हृदि मतं प्राह मां सुरसत्तम: । मयि सम्भावना यास्या: फलात्कृष्णो भविष्यति
iti matvā hṛdi mataṁ prāha māṁ surasattamaḥ | mayi sambhāvanā yāsyāḥ phalāt kṛṣṇo bhaviṣyati ||
Parāśara disse: “Conhecendo o desejo firmado em meu coração, o mais eminente entre os deuses falou-me: ‘Ó sábio, pela própria força de tua aspiração reverente por mim—teu anseio por essa dádiva—obterás um filho chamado Kṛṣṇa.’”
