ततोअभ्यनुज्ञां सम्प्राप्प स्तुतो मतिमतां वर: । इस तरह भक्तिके द्वारा भगवान्को सामने रखते हुए मैंने उन्हींसे आज्ञा लेकर उन बुद्धिमानोंमें श्रेष्ठ भगवान् यज्ञपतिकी स्तुति की
tato 'bhyanujñāṃ samprāpya stuto matimatāṃ varaḥ |
Então, tendo obtido a permissão, eu—louvado como o melhor entre os sábios—ofereci um hino de exaltação ao Senhor, o Mestre do yajña (sacrifício), mantendo-O diretamente diante de mim pela devoção e agindo apenas com o Seu assentimento.
वायुदेव उवाच
The verse emphasizes acting with humility and propriety: even a powerful or wise being proceeds only after receiving divine consent, and devotion (bhakti) is presented as the means of keeping the Lord present while offering praise.
Vāyudeva states that he first received permission and then performed a stuti (hymn of praise) to the Lord described as Yajñapati, indicating a reverent, sanctioned act rather than self-willed action.
