Disse Vaiśampāyana: Ó rei, da região da cabeça de Bhīṣma surgiu algo como um grande tição em brasa, ardendo—um sinal radiante e ominoso, que marcava a gravidade do momento e o estado extraordinário do ancião, deitado em seu leito de flechas.
