स्नेहनो<स्नेहनश्वैव अजितश्न महामुनि: । वृक्षाकारो वृक्षकेतुरनलो वायुवाहन:

Transliteration

snehano ’snehanaś caiva ajitaśna mahāmuniḥ | vṛkṣākāro vṛkṣaketuranalo vāyuvāhanaḥ ||

Translation

Vāyu-deva disse: “Ele é ao mesmo tempo afetuoso e, ainda assim, desapegado; um grande sábio cuja autodisciplina é inconquistável. Ele tem forma de árvore—imagem da árvore do mundo; traz um estandarte alto como uma árvore; é o próprio fogo; e faz do vento o seu veículo.”
