य॑ं ज्ञात्वा अन्तकाले5पि गच्छेत परमां गतिम् । पवित्र मड़लं मेध्यं कल्याणमिदमुत्तमम्
yaṁ jñātvā antakāle ’pi gacchet paramāṁ gatim | pavitra-maṇḍalaṁ medhyaṁ kalyāṇam idam uttamam ||
Disse Vāyu: “Quem vier a conhecer isto—ainda que no momento derradeiro da morte—alcança o estado supremo. Este Sahasranāma-stotra é sumamente sagrado, auspicioso e excelente: um maṇḍala de hino purificador que santifica e eleva a mente, conduzindo ao bem mais alto.”
