मन्थानो बहुलो वायु: सकल: सर्वलोचन: । तलस्ताल: करस्थाली ऊर्ध्वसंहननो महान्
manthāno bahulo vāyuḥ sakalaḥ sarvalocanaḥ | talastālaḥ karasthālī ūrdhvasaṃhanano mahān ||
Vāyu-deva disse: “Ele é um vento poderoso que revolve o mundo — o grande vento do tempo da dissolução; completo em todos os poderes, vendo em toda parte. Mantém o ritmo batendo a própria palma, usa as mãos como seu vaso de alimento, tem corpo forte, de estrutura compacta e erguida, e é verdadeiramente grande.”
