Anuśāsana-parva 17
उग्रो वंशकरो वंशों वंशनादो हाुनिन्दित: । सर्वाड्ररूपो मायावी सुहदो हुनिलोडनल:
vāyudeva uvāca | ugro vaṁśakaro vaṁśo vaṁśanādo 'ninditaḥ | sarvāṅgarūpo māyāvī suhṛd anilo 'nalaḥ ||
Vāyudeva disse: “Ele é Ugra—terrível, assumindo uma forma assustadora no tempo da dissolução; fundador da linhagem e a própria linhagem; aquele cujo som de flauta ressoa (como Kṛṣṇa); irrepreensível, além de toda censura; perfeito em todos os membros; maravilhoso em poder divino; amigo de todos com compaixão sem causa; e presente como Vento e como Fogo.”
