Transliteration

Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca:

Nābhāgadheyaḥ prāpnoti dhanaṃ subalavān api |

Bhāgadheyānvitastv arthān kṛśo bālaś ca vindati ||

Translation

Disse Yudhiṣṭhira: Mesmo um homem de grande força não obtém riqueza se não tiver a sua parte no destino. Mas aquele a quem acompanha a boa fortuna alcança prosperidade — ainda que seja frágil e apenas um menino.
