सदैव भरतश्रेष्ठ मा ते5भूदत्र संशय: । अन्धो जड इवाशड्की यद् ब्रवीमि तदाचर
sadaiva bharataśreṣṭha mā te 'bhūd atra saṁśayaḥ | andho jaḍa ivāśaṅkī yad bravīmi tad ācara ||
Bhishma disse: “Ó melhor dos Bharatas, jamais deixes que surja em ti qualquer dúvida acerca disto. Tudo o que eu te disser, aceita sem suspeita—como quem é cego ou mudo—e age de acordo.”
