धूम्ररूपं च यत्तस्य धूर्जटीत्यत उच्यते । समेधयति यत्नित्यं सर्वान् वै सर्वकर्मभि:
dhūmrarūpaṃ ca yattasya dhūrjaṭīty ata ucyate | samedhayati yat nityaṃ sarvān vai sarvakarmabhiḥ ||
Vāyu disse: “Porque a sua forma tem um tom esfumaçado, ele é chamado Dhūrjaṭi. E porque, por meio de toda espécie de rito e ação, ele continuamente acende e fortalece tudo (os fogos sacrificiais e as obras sagradas), ele é sempre aquele que faz prosperar todos os empreendimentos.”
