भवन्तु सत्कृतानीह पूर्वमेव प्रचोदित: । ततोऊहं ज्वलमानं वै पायसं प्रत्यवेदयम्
bhavantu satkṛtānīha pūrvam eva pracoditaḥ | tato ’haṃ jvalamānaṃ vai pāyasaṃ pratyavedayam ||
Vāyu disse: “Sabendo de antemão a intenção deles, eu já havia instruído os da casa a preparar, com a devida honra, toda espécie de alimentos e refrescos, excelentes e suficientes. Como tudo estava pronto conforme eu ordenara, ofereci então ao sábio um pāyasa, arroz-doce, ainda fumegante e bem quente.”
