तत्कथं वै नाद्रियेयमी श्वरोडस्मीति पुत्रक । मा ते मन्युर्महाबाहो भवत्वत्र द्विजान् प्रति
tat kathaṃ vai nādriyeyam īśvaro ’smi iti putraka | mā te manyur mahābāho bhavatv atra dvijān prati ||
“Como, então, eu poderia deixar de honrar os brāhmaṇas, meu filho, pensando: ‘Eu sou o Senhor, capaz de realizar tudo’? Ó de braços poderosos, não deixes que aqui surja ira contra os duas-vezes-nascidos. A reverência aos brāhmaṇas não deve ser abandonada por confiança na própria força.”
