अपना बछ। अफड-ण क्र एकोनषष्टर्याधेकशततमो< ध्याय: श्रीकृष्णका प्रद्मुम्नको ब्राह्मणोंकी महिमा बताते हुए दुर्वासाके चरित्रका वर्णन करना और यह सारा प्रसंग युधिष्ठिरको सुनाना युधिछिर उवाच ब्रृहि ब्राह्मणपूजायां व्युष्टिं त्वं मधुसूदन । वेत्ता त्वमस्य चार्थस्य वेद त्वां हि पितामह:
Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | brūhi brāhmaṇapūjāyāṁ vyuṣṭiṁ tvaṁ Madhusūdana | vettā tvam asya cārthasya veda tvāṁ hi Pitāmahaḥ ||
Yudhiṣṭhira disse: “Ó Madhusūdana, diz-me o verdadeiro resultado e o benefício que surgem de honrar e venerar os brāhmaṇas. Tu compreendes plenamente o sentido desta questão, e de fato meu avô te considera conhecedor dela.”
