एवं वर्षसहस्राणि दिव्यानि विपुलब्रत: । त्रिंशत: कश्यपो राजन् भूमिरासीदतन्द्रित:
evaṁ varṣa-sahasrāṇi divyāni vipula-vrataḥ | triṁśataḥ kaśyapo rājan bhūmir āsīd atandritaḥ ||
Ó rei! Assim, Kaśyapa, firme em seu vasto voto e livre de indolência, permaneceu como a própria Terra por trinta mil anos divinos.
