अध्याय १६ — शङ्कर-उमा-वरदानम् तथा तण्डि-स्तुतिः (Śaṅkara–Umā Boon-Granting and Taṇḍi’s Hymn)
यानि च प्रथितान्यादौ तण्डिराख्यातवान् मम । नामानि मानवश्रेष्ठ तानि त्वं शृणु सिद्धये
yāni ca prathitāny ādau taṇḍir ākhyātavān mama | nāmāni mānavaśreṣṭha tāni tvaṃ śṛṇu siddhaye ||
Vāyu disse: “Ó melhor dos homens, escuta, para tua realização, esses nomes célebres desde o princípio — nomes que o sábio Taṇḍi outrora me recitou. Diz-se que ouvi-los concede êxito espiritual.”
