सोमादित्यान्वया: सर्वे राघवा: कुरवस्तथा । पठन्ति शुचयो नित्यं सावित्रीं प्राणिनां गतिम्
somādityānvayāḥ sarve rāghavāḥ kuravas tathā | paṭhanti śucayo nityaṃ sāvitrīṃ prāṇināṃ gatim ||
Disse Bhīṣma: “Todos os reis nascidos na linhagem Solar—os Rāghu—e igualmente os da raça dos Kuru, puros em sua conduta, sempre recitaram diariamente o mantra Sāvitrī (Gāyatrī). Declara-se que a Gāyatrī é o refúgio supremo e o destino último dos seres vivos.”
