Transliteration

udīrṇaḥ sarvataś-cakṣuḥ anīśaḥ śāśvata-sthiraḥ | bhūśayaḥ bhūṣaṇaḥ bhūtiḥ viśokaḥ śoka-nāśanaḥ ||

Translation

Disse Bhīṣma: Ele é o Exaltado—vê em todas as direções, não está sujeito a nenhum outro soberano, é eternamente firme e imutável. Ele é Aquele que se deitou sobre a terra; Aquele que adorna o mundo; o fundamento de toda prosperidade e de todo poder divino; Ele mesmo livre de tristeza, e o destruidor da tristeza daqueles que se lembram dele.
