Shloka 75

त्रिसामा सामगः साम निर्वाणं भेषजं भिषक्‌ । संन्यासकृच्छम: शान्तो निष्ठा शान्ति: परायणम्‌

trisāmā sāmagaḥ sāma nirvāṇaṁ bheṣajaṁ bhiṣak | saṁnyāsakṛc chamaḥ śānto niṣṭhā śāntiḥ parāyaṇam ||

Bhīṣma said: He is praised by the three Sāman-hymns; He is the chanter of the Sāma, and the very essence of the Sāmaveda. He is Nirvāṇa itself—the treasury of supreme peace; the medicine for the disease of worldly existence; and the physician who cures that disease. He is the ordainer of renunciation for liberation; the giver of inner restraint; the perfectly tranquil one; the firm foundation of all; Peace itself; and the highest refuge and final goal for those who seek release.
