Bhīṣma’s Yogic Departure, Royal Cremation, and Gaṅgā’s Lament (भीष्मस्य योगयुक्त्या देहत्यागः, पितृमेधः, गङ्गाविलापः)
एष तस्यानवद्यस्य नारदस्य महात्मन: । संदेशो देवपूजार्थ तं तथा कुरु पाण्डव,पाण्डुनन्दन! उन अनिन्द्य महात्मा देवर्षि नारदजीका ही यह संदेश है कि महादेवजीकी पूजा करनी चाहिये। इसलिये तुम भी ऐसा ही करो
eṣa tasyānavadyasya nāradasya mahātmanaḥ | saṃdeśo devapūjārtha taṃ tathā kuru pāṇḍava, pāṇḍunandana ||
Disse Bhīṣma: “Esta é a mensagem de Nārada, o grande sábio de alma elevada e sem mácula, dada em favor do culto à Divindade. Portanto, ó Pāṇḍava—filho de Pāṇḍu—faz exatamente assim.”
