भीष्मस्योत्तरायणप्रतीक्षा तथा युधिष्ठिरागमनम् | Bhīṣma’s uttarāyaṇa moment and Yudhiṣṭhira’s arrival

दृष्ट: पश्येदहरह: संश्रित: प्रतिसंश्रयेत्‌ । अर्चितश्षार्चयेन्नित्यं स देवो द्विजसत्तमा:

Transliteration

dṛṣṭaḥ paśyed aharahaḥ saṁśritaḥ pratisaṁśrayet | arcitaś cārcayen nityaṁ sa devo dvijasattama ||

Translation

Ó melhor entre os duas-vezes-nascidos, o Senhor responde conforme a aproximação do devoto: quem O contempla dia após dia é recebido por Seu olhar de graça; quem se refugia n’Ele encontra o Senhor abrigando-Se no coração dessa pessoa; e quem O adora é, por sua vez, sempre honrado por Ele.
