किमर्थमृषिपूगस्य त्यक्तसड्रस्य नित्यश: । निर्ममस्यागमवतो विस्मय: समुपागत:,“महर्षियो! ऋषिसमुदाय तो आसक्ति और ममतासे रहित है! सबको शास्त्रोंका ज्ञान है, फिर भी आपलोगोंको आश्चर्य क्यों हो रहा है?
kimartham ṛṣipūgasya tyaktasaṅgasya nityaśaḥ | nirmamasya āgamavato vismayaḥ samupāgataḥ ||
Bhīṣma disse: “Por que surgiu o assombro nesta assembleia de sábios—sempre livres de apego, sem possessividade e versados nos ensinamentos sagrados? Que motivo pode haver para maravilha entre aqueles que renunciaram ao apego e conhecem os śāstras?”
भीष्म उवाच
