2 अं ड-ऑ का त्रिशर्दाधिकशततमो<्ध्याय: अरुन्धती

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | tatastvṛṣigaṇāḥ sarve pitaraś ca sadevatāḥ | arundhatīṃ tapovṛddhām apṛcchanta samāhitāḥ ||

Translation

Bhīṣma disse: Então todas as companhias de sábios, juntamente com os Pitṛs e os deuses, aproximaram-se de Arundhatī —engrandecida pela austeridade— e, com a mente plenamente serena, interrogaram-na, desejosos de ouvir de sua boca o mais profundo segredo do dharma.
