अध्याय १३२ — कर्मणा मनसा वाचा: स्वर्गमार्गः तथा आयुर्विपाकः
Adhyāya 132 — The path to heaven through deed, mind, and speech; karmic results for lifespan
श्रीरुवाच प्रकीर्ण भाजनं यत्र भिन्नभाण्डमथासनम् । योषितश्वैव हन्यते कश्मलोपहते गृहे
śrīr uvāca—prakīrṇa-bhājanaṃ yatra bhinna-bhāṇḍam atha āsanam | yoṣitaś caiva hanyate kaśmalopahate gṛhe ||
Śrī (Lakṣmī) disse: “Numa casa onde os recipientes ficam espalhados, onde os utensílios estão quebrados e até os assentos rasgados, e onde as mulheres são agredidas e ultrajadas—tal lar é maculado pelo pecado. De um domicílio assim profanado, em tempos de festa e de observância sagrada, os deuses e os ancestrais voltam atrás, desapontados; não aceitam o culto ali oferecido.”
