वर्षासु दीपदानेन शशिवच्छो भते नर:
varṣāsu dīpadānena śaśivac chobhate naraḥ
Disse Śakra: “Aquele que oferece lâmpadas durante a estação das chuvas resplandece como a lua—tornando-se uma fonte visível de luz e orientação em meio à escuridão e às provações. Este ensinamento louva a caridade feita no tempo oportuno, que beneficia os outros quando as condições são difíceis.”
