भीष्म उवाच
Truthfulness (satya) carries ethical and spiritual power: the deity is pleased by righteous speech and grants protection and life, showing that moral integrity can invite divine favor.
After the ascetic woman speaks, Indra becomes pleased and responds with a boon, declaring that all her sons should remain alive.
