मांसभक्षण-दोषाः तथा अहिंसाया माहात्म्यम् | Faults of Meat-Consumption and the Supremacy of Ahiṃsā
सर्वभूतात्मभूतस्य सर्वभूतानि पश्यत: । देवा5पि मार्गे मुहान्ति अपदस्य पदैषिण:
sarvabhūtātmabhūtasya sarvabhūtāni paśyataḥ | devā api mārge muhyanti apadasya padaiṣiṇaḥ ||
Yudhiṣṭhira disse: “Até os deuses se confundem ao tentar rastrear o caminho daquele sábio que se tornou o próprio Si de todos os seres—que vê todas as criaturas com visão igual—e cujo movimento está além do comum ir e vir. Seu verdadeiro curso não pode ser medido por sinais externos.”
