श्रीरवाच वसामि नित्यं सुभगे प्रगल्भे दक्षे नरे कर्मणि वर्तमाने | अक्रोधने देवपरे कृतज्ञे जितेन्द्रिये नित्यमुदीर्णसत्त्वे

Transliteration

śrīr uvāca: vasāmi nityaṃ subhage pragalbhe dakṣe nare karmaṇi vartamāne | akrodhane devapare kṛtajñe jitendriye nityam udīrṇasattve ||

Translation

Śrī (Lakṣmī) disse: “Ó auspiciosa, eu habito sempre naquele homem que é afortunado e audaz, competente e firmemente dedicado à ação justa—livre de ira, devoto aos deuses, grato, senhor de si, e sempre dotado de elevado sattva (clareza e força interior).”
