Inquiry into the Discipline of Fasting
न गुरावकृतप्रज्ञे शक््यं शिष्येण वर्तितुम् । गुरोहिं दीर्घदर्शित्वं यत् तच्छिष्यस्य भारत
bhīṣma uvāca | na gurāv akṛtaprajñe śakyaṃ śiṣyeṇa vartitum | guroḥ hi dīrghadarśitvaṃ yat tac chiṣyasya bhārata |
Bhishma disse: “Um discípulo não consegue permanecer devidamente sob a disciplina de um mestre cujo juízo não é maduro. Pois, ó Bharata, a clarividência que pertence ao mestre reflete-se também no discípulo: quando o mais velho é verdadeiramente previdente, o mais novo torna-se igualmente previdente.”
