अथ सर्जरसादीनां गंधै: पार्थिव दारवै: । फाणितासवसंयुक्तर्मनुष्याणां विधीयते

Transliteration

atha sarjarasādīnāṁ gandhaiḥ pārthiva dāravaiḥ | phāṇitāsavasaṁyuktaṁ manuṣyāṇāṁ vidhīyate, pṛthvīnātha! |

Translation

Śukra disse: “Ó senhor da terra, para uso humano prepara-se uma mistura fragrante artificial: combinam-se os aromas de substâncias resinosas como a sarja e outros perfumes de origem terrosa e lenhosa, ligados com xarope doce e essência fermentada. Este é o incenso composto que os homens empregam com maior frequência.”
