तस्मिंस्तथा ब्रुवाणे तु ब्राह्मणी गौतमी नृप । स्वकर्मप्रत्ययाँललोकान् मत्वार्जुनकमब्रवीत्
tasmiṁs tathā bruvāṇe tu brāhmaṇī gautamī nṛpa | svakarma-pratyayān lokān matvārjunakam abravīt ||
Ó rei, enquanto ele falava desse modo, a brāhmaṇī Gautamī—refletindo que os seres alcançam seus respectivos mundos segundo a certeza de seus próprios atos—dirigiu-se a Arjunaka.
