दुर्योधनो हि समरे सहसैन्य: सहानुज: । निहतः क्षत्रधर्मेडस्मिन् दुरात्मा कुलपांसन:,दुरात्मा एवं कुलाड्ार दुर्योधन सेना और बन्धुओं सहित क्षत्रियधर्मके अनुसार होनेवाले इस युद्धमें मारा गया
duryodhano hi samare sahasainyaḥ sahānujaḥ | nihataḥ kṣatradharme 'smin durātmā kulapāṃsanaḥ ||
Pois Duryodhana—de coração perverso, mancha de sua linhagem—foi morto nesta batalha, juntamente com seu exército e seus irmãos mais novos, de acordo com o código do guerreiro que rege tal guerra.
