Transliteration

prajajñe ca tataḥ kāle rājan rājīvalocanā | kumāraṃ devagarbhābhaṃ rājīvanibhalocanam, janamejaya |

Translation

Vaiśampāyana disse: Então, no tempo devido, ó rei Janamejaya, Śarmiṣṭhā, de olhos de lótus, deu à luz um filho — radiante como se fosse nascido dos deuses, com olhos semelhantes a lótus.
