यः समुत्पतितं क्रोधमक्रोधेन निरस्यति । देवयानि विजानीहि तेन सर्वमिदं जितम्,देवयानी! जो उत्पन्न हुए क्रोधको अक्रोध (क्षमाभाव)-के द्वारा मनसे निकाल देता है, समझ लो, उसने सम्पूर्ण जगत्को जीत लिया
yaḥ samutpatitaṁ krodham akrodhena nirasyati | devayāni vijānīhi tena sarvam idaṁ jitam ||
Śukra disse: “Ó Devayānī, sabe: aquele que expulsa a ira que surgiu por meio da não-ira—pela tolerância e pelo autocontrole—por esse mesmo ato conquistou este mundo inteiro.”
