Tapovana-praveśaḥ — The King’s Entry into the Sacred Grove and Vision of the Āśrama
त्रासयन्तो5भिनिध्नन्तः सर्वभूतगणांश्न ते । विचेरु: सर्वशो राजन् महीं शतसहसत्रश:,राजन! वे असुर लाखोंकी संख्यामें उत्पन्न हुए थे और समस्त प्राणियोंको डराते- धमकाते तथा उनकी हिंसा करते हुए भूमण्डलमें सब ओर घूमते रहते थे
trāsayanto 'bhinighnantaḥ sarvabhūtagāṇāṃś ca te | viceruḥ sarvaśo rājan mahīṃ śatasahasraśaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana disse: Ó rei, esses seres vagavam por toda a terra em centenas de milhares, aterrorizando todos os grupos de criaturas vivas e abatendo-as a golpes. Sua conduta era marcada por intimidação e violência, espalhando medo e desordem entre os seres.
