King Duḥṣanta’s Entry into the Forest Hunt
संचिन्त्यैवं तदा राजा विचार्य च पुन: पुनः । अमोघत्वं च विज्ञाय रेतसो राजसत्तम:,उन्होंने विचार किया, “मेरा यह स्खलित वीर्य व्यर्थ न हो, साथ ही मेरी पत्नी गिरिकाका ऋतुकाल भी व्यर्थ न जाय” इस प्रकार बारम्बार विचारकर राजाओंमें श्रेष्ठ वसुने उस वीर्यको अमोघ बनानेका ही निश्चय किया
sañcintyāivaṃ tadā rājā vicārya ca punaḥ punaḥ | amoghatvaṃ ca vijñāya retaso rājasattamaḥ ||
Disse Vaiśampāyana: Tendo refletido assim, o rei deliberou repetidas vezes. Percebendo que a semente derramada não precisava ser inútil, o melhor dos reis resolveu torná-la eficaz—para que nem o vigor emitido nem a estação fértil da rainha Girikā fossem desperdiçados.
