King Duḥṣanta’s Entry into the Forest Hunt
अभिमन्यु: सुभद्रायामर्जुनादभ्यजायत । स्वस्त्रीयो वासुदेवस्य पौत्र: पाण्डोर्महात्मन:,अर्जुनद्वारा सुभद्राके गर्भसे अभिमन्युका जन्म हुआ। वह महात्मा पाण्डुका पौत्र और भगवान् श्रीकृष्णका भानजा था
abhimanyuḥ subhadrāyām arjunād abhyajāyata | svastrīyo vāsudevasya pautraḥ pāṇḍor mahātmanaḥ ||
Dāśa disse: “Abhimanyu nasceu de Subhadrā por Arjuna. Era sobrinho de Vāsudeva (Kṛṣṇa), por ser filho de sua irmã, e neto do magnânimo Pāṇḍu.”
