सर्पसत्रे ऋत्विजः सदस्याश्च — Officiants and Assembly at Janamejaya’s Serpent-Sacrifice
ववृधे स तु तत्रैव नागराजनिवेशने । वेदांश्नाधिजगे साड्रान् भार्गवाच्च्यवनान्मुने:,वह वहीं नागराजके भवनमें बढ़ने लगा। बड़े होनेपर उसने भृगुकुलोत्पन्न च्यवन मुनिसे छहों अंगोंसहित वेदोंका अध्ययन किया
vavṛdhe sa tu tatraiva nāgarāja-niveśane | vedān ṣaḍ-aṅgān adhijage sādrān bhārgavāc cyavanān muneḥ ||
Ali mesmo, na residência do rei dos Nāgas, ele cresceu. Ao atingir a idade apropriada, estudou os Vedas com suas seis disciplinas auxiliares, aprendendo-os por completo com o sábio Cyavana, da linhagem de Bhṛgu.
तक्षक उवाच
The verse underscores that authority and maturity are strengthened by disciplined study and proper instruction: even a powerful Nāga becomes truly accomplished by learning the Vedas and Vedāṅgas under a qualified guru from a respected lineage.
Takṣaka grows up in the abode of the Nāga-king and, upon reaching maturity, studies the Vedas along with the six Vedāṅgas, learning them fully from the Bhṛgu-lineage sage Cyavana.
