Jaratkāru’s Marital Compact and Departure (जरत्कारु–जरत्कारुणी संवादः)
अड्कुरं कृतवांस्तत्र ततः पर्णद्वयान्वितम् । पलाशिनं शाखिनं च तथा विटपिनं पुन:,पहले उन्होंने उसमेंसे अंकुर निकाला, फिर उसे दो पत्तेका कर दिया। इसी प्रकार क्रमश: पल्लव, शाखा और प्रशाखाओंसे युक्त उस महान् वृक्षको पुनः पूर्ववत् खड़ा कर दिया
aṅkuraṃ kṛtavāṃs tatra tataḥ parṇadvayānvitam | palāśinaṃ śākhinaṃ ca tathā viṭapinaṃ punaḥ ||
Kāśyapa disse: “Ali ele fez surgir um broto novo; depois o dotou de um par de folhas. E, em progressão ordenada, restaurou-o outra vez—primeiro com folhagem tenra, depois com ramos, e então com ramificações que se espalham—até que a grande árvore se erguesse como antes.”
