Jaratkāru’s Conditional Marriage Vow and Vāsuki’s Offer (जरत्कारु-विवाह-नियमः)
तत्र रक्षां कुरुष्वेति पुन: पुनरथाब्रवीत् । तदन्यथा न शक््यं च कर्तु केनचिदप्युत,इस दशामें आप अपनी रक्षाकी व्यवस्था करें। यह मुनिने बार-बार कहा है। उस शापको कोई भी टाल नहीं सकता
tatra rakṣāṁ kuruṣveti punaḥ punar athābravīt | tad anyathā na śakyaṁ ca kartuṁ kenacid apy uta ||
Então ele disse, repetidas vezes: “Providencia a tua proteção ali.” Pois não é possível a ninguém, de modo algum, fazer que seja diferente—essa maldição não pode ser desviada.
