तस्माच्चरेथा: सततं क्षमाशीलो जितेन्द्रिय: । क्षमया प्राप्स्यसे लोकान्‌ ब्रह्मण: समनन्तरान्‌,इसलिये तुम सदा इन्द्रियोंको वशमें रखते हुए क्षमाशील बनो। क्षमासे ही ब्रह्माजीके निकटवर्ती लोकोंमें जा सकोगे

Transliteration

tasmāc carethāḥ satataṃ kṣamāśīlo jitendriyaḥ | kṣamayā prāpsyase lokān brahmaṇaḥ samanantarān ||

Translation

Portanto, conduz-te sempre com tolerância, mantendo os sentidos sob controle. Somente pelo perdão alcançarás os mundos próximos de Brahmā—reinos excelsos, atingidos por aqueles que dominam a si mesmos e não retribuem injúria com injúria.
