न चाप्येवं त्वया भूय: क्षेप्तव्या ब्रह्म॒वादिन: । न चावमान्या दर्पात् ते वाग्वज़्ा भूशकोपना:,“एक बात ध्यान रखना--आजसे फिर कभी तुम घमंडमें आकर ब्रह्मवादी महात्माओंका उपहास और अपमान न करना; क्योंकि उनके पास वाणीरूप अमोघ वच् है तथा वे तीक्ष्ण कोपवाले होते हैं!
na cāpy evaṁ tvayā bhūyaḥ kṣeptavyā brahmavādinaḥ | na cāvamānyā darpāt te vāg-vajrā bhṛśa-kopanāḥ ||
Śaunaka disse: “Daqui em diante, nunca mais zombes assim dos brahma-vādins. Não os insultes por orgulho; pois a palavra deles é como um raio, infalível em seu efeito, e são capazes de uma ira terrível. Toma isto como regra a partir de hoje.”
