Fear is dispelled through steady leadership and collective unity; one should face the situation together, and right speech (praise/propitiation) is presented as an effective, non-violent means of engagement.
Śaunaka reassures the group not to fear and urges them to remain united with him; following his instruction, they proceed and offer verbal praise to Garuḍa.
