जग्राह बलमास्थाय ज्यया च युयुजे धनु: । मौर्व्या तु योज्यमानायां बलिना पाण्डवेन ह

Transliteration

jagrāha balam āsthāya jyayā ca yuyuje dhanuḥ | maurvyā tu yojyamānāyāṃ balinā pāṇḍavena ha

Translation

Vaiśampāyana disse: Confiando na própria força, o poderoso Pāṇḍava tomou o arco e nele ajustou a corda. E, ao assentá-la no lugar, fê-lo com vigoroso esforço—sinal de determinação, prontidão e controle disciplinado, e não de mera exibição de força.
