तत्र पूर्वव्यतीतानि विक्रान्तानीतराणि च । बहूनि कथयित्वा तौ रेमाते पार्थमाधवौ,राजन! वहाँ जाकर शत्रुओंकी राजधानीको जीतनेवाले वे दोनों महात्मा श्रीकृष्ण और अर्जुन दो बहुमूल्य सिंहासनोंपर बैठे और पहले किये हुए पराक्रमों तथा अन्य बहुत-सी बातोंकी चर्चा करके आमोद-प्रमोद करने लगे

Transliteration

tatra pūrvavyatītāni vikrāntāny itarāṇi ca | bahūni kathayitvā tau remāte pārthamādhavau, rājan ||

Translation

Ali, ó rei, Pārtha (Arjuna) e Mādhava (Kṛṣṇa), depois de recontarem muitas coisas—feitos heroicos realizados no passado e outros acontecimentos—puseram-se à vontade e deleitaram-se na conversa.
