Śārṅgakānāṃ Avināśaḥ (Why the Śārṅga Birds Were Spared) | शार्ङ्गकानामविनाशः
एकवर्षनन्तरास्त्वेते द्रौपदेया यशस्विन: । अन्वजायन्त राजेन्द्र परस्परहितैषिण:,राजेन्द्र! ये यशस्वी द्रौपदीकुमार एक-एक वर्षके अन्तरसे उत्पन्न हुए थे और एक- दूसरेका हित चाहनेवाले थे
ekavarṣānantārās tv ete draupadeyā yaśasvinaḥ | anvajāyanta rājendra parasparahitaiṣiṇaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana disse: “Ó melhor dos reis, estes ilustres filhos de Draupadī nasceram um após o outro, com intervalos de um ano, e eram devotados ao bem-estar mútuo.”
