Śārṅgakānāṃ Avināśaḥ (Why the Śārṅga Birds Were Spared) | शार्ङ्गकानामविनाशः
सुभद्राका कुन्ती और द्रौपदीकी सेवामें उपस्थित होना प्रीत्या परमया युक्ता आशीर्भिय्युज्जतातुलाम् । ततो$भिगम्य त्वरिता पूर्णेन्दुसद्शानना
Subhadrā ca Kuntī ca Draupadī-sevāyāṃ upasthitā prītyā paramayā yuktā āśīrbhir yujjatātulām | tato 'bhigamya tvaritā pūrṇendu-sadṛśānanā ||
Disse Vaiśaṃpāyana: Subhadrā, dedicada a servir Kuntī e Draupadī, estava cheia do mais alto afeto e oferecia bênçãos incomparáveis. Então, apressando-se, aproximou-se delas—com o rosto radiante como a lua cheia—sinalizando humilde reverência e o ideal ético de honrar os mais velhos e as coesposas por meio de um serviço sincero.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights gṛhastha-dharma: harmony in the household is sustained through humility, affectionate service (sevā), and honoring elders and family members with sincere blessings rather than rivalry.
Vaiśaṃpāyana describes Subhadrā attending upon Kuntī and Draupadī with deep affection, offering blessings, and then quickly approaching them—her moonlike face emphasizing her respectful, auspicious presence.
