इदं निर्दिष्टमयश: पुरोचनकृतं महत् | तेषामनुग्रहेणाद्य राजन् प्रक्षालयात्मन:,राजन! पुरोचनके हाथों जो कुछ कराया गया, उससे आपका बहुत बड़ा अपयश सब ओर फैल गया है। अपने उस कलंकको आज आप पाण्डवोंपर अनुग्रह करके थो डालिये
idaṁ nirdiṣṭam ayaśaḥ purocanakṛtaṁ mahat | teṣām anugraheṇādya rājan prakṣālaya ātmanaḥ ||
Vidura disse: “Esta grande desonra, causada por Purocana, tornou-se amplamente conhecida e manchou o teu nome. Ó rei, lava hoje essa nódoa mostrando favor aos Pāṇḍavas.”
