ततो भगवता तस्य शिरश्छिन्नमलंकृतम्‌ | चक्रायुधेन चक्रेण पिबतो5मृतमोजसा,तब चक्रधारी भगवान्‌ श्रीहरिने अमृत पीनेवाले उस दानवका मुकुटमण्डित मस्तक चक्रद्वारा बलपूर्वक काट दिया

Transliteration

tato bhagavatā tasya śiraś chinnam alaṅkṛtam | cakrāyudhena cakreṇa pibato 'mṛtam ojasā ||

Translation

Então o Senhor Bem-aventurado, portador do disco, com seu disco-arma decepou com força a cabeça do demônio, ornada de coroa, enquanto ele bebia o néctar com grande ímpeto. O episódio afirma que, mesmo quando alguém tenta agarrar a imortalidade por engano ou por meios injustos, a justiça divina intervém para sustentar a ordem cósmica.
