तेषां शराणां वेगेन शितानां तिग्मतेजसाम् | विमुह्यमानो राधेयो यत्नात् तमनुधावति,उन दुःसह तेजवाले तीखे बाणोंके वेगपूर्वक आघातसे राधानन्दन कर्णको मूर्च्छा आने लगी। वह बड़ी कठिनाईसे अर्जुनकी ओर बढ़ा
teṣāṁ śarāṇāṁ vegena śitānāṁ tigmātejasām | vimuhyamāno rādheyo yatnāt tam anudhāvati ||
Disse Vaiśampāyana: Pelo ímpeto daquelas flechas afiadas, de brilho cortante e poder feroz, Rādheya (Karṇa) começou a cambalear, quase perdendo os sentidos. Ainda assim, com grande esforço, avançou na perseguição de Arjuna.
